Hi, I am a 13 year old female and I really need help with my weight. I am overweight, and I would prefer someone who has experience, although any tips are appreciated. Please help me. Thanks.

Hi u cannot loose weight overnight the best way will be exercise but if you don’t have enough time for that below are few tips you can try doing.
1)You can also mix juice of half a lime and one teaspoon of fresh honey in a glass of lukewarm water. Have this early in the morning, followed by every few hours intake.
2)Have one or two tomatoes, on an empty stomach, every morning. This has been found to be effective.
3)In a glass of boiling water, add ginger and lemon slices. Steep for sometime and strain the water. Have this decoction when warm.
4)In a cup of water, add 3 tsp limejuice, ¼ tsp powdered black pepper, and 1 tsp honey. Have this concoction regularly, once a day

dont do a diet because they arent meant for kids. Eating healthier and exercising more does help though. =)
heyy i have the same problem! i am a cheerleader and i found that doing but lifts, crunches, and running helps. also dont eat fatty foods. try celery! they make you loose calories by eating them!
i was overweight at 13 but i was a guy but that fiirst one sounded disgusting. all i did was drink three gallons of water a day. i walked home if you dont walk already its good exercise cuz u can just go straight home and rest after.
dont do it going to school or you will get sweaty
6 meals a day and the meals should be half what ur regualr meals are. eat all ur carbs in the first meal and dont eat carbs the rest of the day
walk for 30 mins before u go to sleep. just around ur neighborhood since ur young do it with a parent.
also after a month do tabata training sprints when you think you are ready.

if you need to exercise just do light jogging and your good. dont do all out sprints thats the last thing u want to do because with the tabata sprints ur just building up your CardioVascular endurance. two different things your body does when you sprint and keep a steady mid heart rate compared to blasting your heart rate to the max.

I think you might be getting a little mixed up with what you want exactly. You say that you want to lose “weight” but that means you might want to get rid of some muscle too. You then say that you’d like to “shape” (I’d call it tone) your body a little which implies you want to build some muscle. I’m not trying to pick at your question – I just want to clarify the point for you.
To answer it in the best way, I am going to look at it as if you want to get rid of fat AND build muscle at the same time. If you’re looking to “trim” and “tone” your body, and espectially because you suggest you are not that overweight, I would suggest you start performing more intensive aerobic exercises such as jogging. I wouldn’t think you need to change the whole way you eat or go on a diet because if you’re wanting to build muscles – it’s better to do it all with exercise.
Exercises like jogging won’t exactly “build” your muscles on your stomach but they will help reduce the extra fat around there. Depending on how fit you are, you should go on daily or bi-daily jogs of around a mile. To build muscles, you should concentrate on anaerobic exercises such as sit-ups to help build muscles.
These muscle-building exercises will give your muscles the toning and training they need to grow and become more prominent. To start to see a real difference with sit-ups, you should be looking to do no more than 100 every day (more than that will often hurt your muscles).
